Wood Supply and Treating Facilities
One of Stella-Jones' main competitive advantages is its strong wood supply position in key regions in Canada and the United States, where the Company has established solid long-term relationships with its raw materials suppliers. In addition, Stella-Jones sources some of its wood supply from its own extensive cutting rights in Quebec, Alberta and British Columbia.

Stella-Jones operates 34 wood treating facilities. In Canada, these facilities are located in Galloway, New Westminster and Prince George (British Columbia), Carseland (Alberta), Gormley, Guelph and Peterborough (Ontario), Delson, Gatineau and Sorel-Tracy (Quebec), and Truro (Nova Scotia).

In the United States, treating facilities are located in Arlington and Tacoma (Washington), Eugene and Sheridan (Oregon), Silver Springs (Nevada), Eloy (Arizona), Lufkin (Texas), Rison and Russellville (Arkansas), Alexandria, Noble and Pineville (Louisiana), Electric Mills (Mississippi), Clanton and Montevallo (Alabama), Cordele (Georgia), Whitmire (South Caroline), Fulton (Kentucky), Winslow (Indiana), Bangor (Wisconsin), Goshen (Virginia), Dubois and McAlisterville (Pennsylvania). Additionally, the Company distills coal tar and distributes products from that process at its Memphis, Tennessee distillery.

The Company operates eleven pole peeling facilities, two in Canada and nine in the United States, and is also serviced by numerous pole peeling sites operated by third parties in both Canada and the United States.
